ABOUT
Started in 1999, IMS developed an ever increasing customer base and quickly out grew the original shop, a meager 3600 square feet. Expansions in 2002 and 2003 now had IMS housed in a three building complex. American Crane & Millwright Service was acquired in 2008 adding crane services and a Kokomo location.
The 20th year anniversary brought exciting changes. June of 2019 Team IMS relocated to a 43,000 square foot facility. This added the space necessary to expand on current fabrication services and position the company for the future.
The corporate philosophy to “provide whatever is needed, right when you need it”, continues to push the desire to develop new and expanded levels of service.
SERVICES
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We have the capabilities to handle projects from infancy of budget numbers to final completion. We pride ourselves in getting the job done right, on budget and most importantly on time.
MACHINERY MOVING
Whether it’s across the state or the other end of the plant we stand ready to serve.
CUSTOM FABRICATION
If it’s made of metal we can be of service. We work closely with engineering and maintenance departments for custom specialty needs. We are involved with basics such as platforms and handrail to production machinery upgrades and prototypes.
STEEL ERECTION
Structural steel has always been a mainstay of an iron worker company and we have been involved in numerous projects. Our greatest sense of satisfaction comes when we get to “fill-up” the building we just built.
ONGOING MAINTENANCE
Our workforce is geared to assist within the windows of production. We are well aware that unscheduled downtimes or project delays are costly. We have been involved in everything from routine lubrication and alignment to fabricating custom parts.
SPECIALIZED RIGGING
We have a broad resume in rigging ranging from marble statues to large production machinery. Every lift requires the same attention to detail.
CONVEYER/AUTOMATION INSTALLATION
We have an extensive base of knowledge in this area. We have performed installations in many different sectors of manufacturing.
PROJECTS
IMS handles projects in many segments of industry completing over 300 projects each year. Over 75,000 hours on average are invested in our client’s projects.
